Reconnect a channel
If a connection stops working.
Now and then a platform asks you to sign in again. Until you do, Wallflower can't publish to that account. Reconnecting takes a minute.

On this page
Before you start
- You're an Owner or Admin.
- You can sign in to the account that needs reconnecting.
Spot it #
You'll see one of these:
- On your dashboard: A connection needs your attention, with a Reconnect button.
- A notification asking you to reconnect the account.
- On a post: a Paused message asking you to reconnect that platform to resume.
Reconnect #
Click Reconnect on the banner. Or go to Settings, then Integrations, and click Refresh on that account's card.
- Facebook and Instagram: a pop-up opens. Sign in again and allow access. If Wallflower asks you to pick your Page again, choose it and click Save Page.
- TikTok and X: Wallflower refreshes the connection. You'll see a message that it was refreshed.
Deal with held posts #
Posts don't go out late on their own. After reconnecting, open each paused post and choose Publish now, or reschedule it.
Still stuck? #
If you see "Failed to refresh" or "Failed to reconnect", click Disconnect on the card, then Connect again. Disconnecting stops publishing to that account until you reconnect it.
NoteSeeing "isn't included in your current plan" instead? The account stays connected, but your plan doesn't cover it. Click Review plan to see your plans, then choose Publish now or reschedule the post.Still not working? Email support@wallflowersocialhq.com.
